The owner and founder of Food Safety Sense, Gaynell Kellum, has many years of experience in the food service industry. With a degree in Biology, she combines a rich background in the sciences with practical experience in the food service arena and a gift for communication in the classroom.
Gaynell has worked closely with local and state health departments to develop a training curriculum that is highly effective and well received. Now this training is available for both Food Handlers and Food Managers through Food Safety Sense training programs.
In addition to food safety training, she conducts speaker training workshops throughout the country as an independent contractor with EDC Communications International. Gaynell combines cheerful enthusiasm, warmth and humor with careful attention to detail in all of her training sessions and holds each of her instructors to the same high standards.
